Osteoinductive factor as a significant marker for the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy

چکیده
Background: The main factor causing chronic kidney disease, which progressively leads to end-stage renal failure, is diabetic nephropathy (DN). This study aims shed light on the importance of osteo-inductive (OIF) as a sensitive indicator for early identification DN Methods: On 80 participants, this prospective cohort observational research was conducted. A total 60 them had diabetes mellitus type 2 based ADA 2019 guidelines. Four equal groups patients were created: 20 healthy people made up group 1 (control group), followed by with normo-albuminuria in 2, micro-albuminuria 3, and macro-albuminuria 4.Results: substantial elevation OIF existed 3 compared while there no variations among 2. directly proportionate degree albuminuria. There important positive relation between HbA1c %, fasting blood glucose, hours post prandial serum creatinine, urea, urine albumin / creatinine ratio, cholesterol, TG Low density lipoproteins, negative correlation both glomerular filtration rate high-density lipoprotein. significant predictor detection microalbuminuria (Area under curve (AUC) 0.869 p=0.014) at cut-off 9.0 86.7% sensitivity 95% specificity. Conclusions: increases progression nephropathy, also marker can be considered good nephropathy.

Osteoinductive factor is a novel biomarker for the diagnosis of early diabetic nephropathy.
BACKGROUND Microalbuminuria is the earliest clinical sign of diabetic nephropathy (DN). However, earlier markers as a diagnostic tool for DN was required for the invalid of microalbuminuria in some cases. Osteoinductive factor (OIF) was known to be an essential component of the normal vascular matrix. We aimed to research the relationship between DN and OIF, and discussed the availability of th...

Background The aim of this study is to compare the circulating placental growth factor (PlGF) concentration in women with and without endometrioma to verify the performance of this marker to diagnose the disease. MaterialsAndMethods In this case-control study, thirteen women with histological diagnosis of ovarian endometriosis were compared with women without endometriosis disease. PlGF plasma ...
متن کاملUrinary Cyclophilin A as a New Marker for Diabetic Nephropathy
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) is the most common single cause of end-stage renal disease. Albuminuria is the most commonly used marker to predict onset of diabetic nephropathy (DN) without enough sensitivity and specificity to detect early DN. This is the first study to identify urinary cyclophilin A (CypA) as a new biomarker for early DN.We recruited DM outpatients and healthy control subjects...
متن کاملTryptophan as a surrogate prognostic marker for diabetic nephropathy
AIMS/INTRODUCTION Diabetic nephropathy is one of the leading causes of end-stage renal disease. Unfortunately, reliable surrogate markers for predicting the prognostic outcome of diabetic nephropathy are as yet absent. In order to find new markers in predicting the progression of diabetic nephropathy, we carried out a prospective study by investigating the correlation between serum metabolites ...
متن کاملProcalcitonin: A Reliable Marker for the Diagnosis of Neonatal Sepsis
Objective(s) In the last few years, serum procalcitonin has been proposed as an early marker of infections in neonates, with varying results. In this study, we aimed to investigate the value of procalcitonin, and C- reactive protein in establishing the diagnosis of neonatal sepsis. Materials and Methods Blood samples were collected at admission from 69 neonates with suspected infection (admi...
